  My Wife is Attending A Witness Wedding

  i mentioned before that a very nice young sister we know is getting married.

  the wedding is this saturday.

  i was invited but before i daed myself.

  Poor Gil......

  I got uninvited to a JW anniversary party one time!...A big todo . The witnesses rented a big hall and everything..(Which I read later is a No-no.)

  It was for my JW in-laws. 50th. I have been disassociated for over 20 years. But I was sent an invitation.

  Then my JW sister and brother in law in NY decided (At the last minute!) that "I might stumble someone". So I was uninvited!.

  So no one in our family attended!

  We are all witness dropouts... (Except hubby...he just didn't want to go alone!)

  Snoozy..the reject!...

  I hope God doesn't hold it against them for having a BIG party!....They are sooo looking forward to being in the "New World"...

  i just returned from some nice r@r in cancun mexico.

  while i was their i had some time to go downtown to their municipal offices, and confront one of their officials face to face on whether the jehovahs witnesses were ever banned in their country.having read crisis of concsience , i have always been interested in finding out the truth of this matter for myself.

  whether they were actually under a ban, or was it the watchtowers way of holding on to their real estate.

  Brooklyn Assembly Hall

  i have been told that the brooklyn assembly hall located on flatbush avenue in brooklyn new york and otherwise known as the albemarle theatre, has been sold.. has anyone else heard this?

  can anyone here confirm this?.

  You said a mouthful hillbilly! Today's witnesses couldn't have cut it.. 30 ...years ago..but at least we had sit down hotmeals!

  The heatstroke and food poisoning was an added touch!...

  I guess I am dense tonight. Was this ban ever announced in a publication of the WTBTS?. Was it just that KH.?

  How would money be envolved? Was that just an expresion of the WTBTS?

  Also..why would they not pray? They could have said a silent prayer? I can't believe a ban would keep them from praying?...Especially in the 90's?

  Not doubting you ..just don't understand how this would happen in the 90's?

  Weren't smoking anything down there were you?

  How well the religion "Whitewashed it's followers" so you couldn't see their "dirt".

  How well they "Whitewashed the Scriptures" to make their religion "Look like the truth!"

  How well they "Whitewashed the religion" to make it look so "good"!

  Like waxing a rotten piece of fruit!.;)

  When the whitewash and wax wear off...you can see how truly rotten the "Religion" is.

  rachel's (princess) husband, steve, spent much of last night at the hospital here, in kahuku.

  he has strep throat and they had him on an iv for 3 hours, before he came home.

  HLC tells hospitals: check everyone's wallet!

  in the information kit entitled jehovah's witnesses - guidelines for their non-blood medical management the chapter entitled "emergency protocol involving jehovah's witnesses" instructs all hospital doctors and nurses to check each casualty's wallet/purse for a blood card in case the patient is a jw.

  yeah, right!

  Well when hubby was in the hospital..they NEVER checked the records. We had them put a file in his folder with the Medical Directive in it. They never looked.(TheDrs.). One got so upset when we told him that he threw the folder down and walked out of the waiting room...Each time a Dr came in we had to be sure to tell them!.

  We gave a copy to the Emergency room Dr..all other Drs. and the hospital itself. Very few Drs took the time to look.

  And when my dad was in the hospital..(Heart).he had a bad hip from a botched hip replacement operation...we instructed them to not lay him on that side..you guessed it. They got confused and layed him on that side evertime! Like they couldn't look for the scar!

  And they wondered why he screamed when they put him on that side!..Idiots..I guess they needed a diagram!

  Don't say "Lucky".......

  ok...i remember when going to the hall it was ok to say fortunate...but not "lucky"..anyone here that can explain the difference.?.

  my jw mother in law was always correcting me..even tho i wasn't a witness anymore!..and being the "kind" soul i am.. went along with her..for respect... but where was the respect for my beliefs?..apparently this is a oneway street!..ya know?.

  OK...I remember when going to the Hall it was OK to say fortunate...but not "Lucky"..Anyone here that can explain the difference.?

  My JW mother in law was always correcting me..even tho I wasn't a witness anymore!..And being the "Kind" soul I am.. went along with her..for respect..
